Student Leadership supports diverse activities and programs which create an atmosphere of opportunity for students to develop and practice leadership skills in a nurturing learning environment.
Statement of Purpose: Student Leadership facilitates leadership development, provides opportunities for student involvement and supports student learning, creating connections for student success.
Student Leader Learning Outcomes:
- Students will identify and engage with involvement opportunities that enhance their learning at RTC.
- Student leaders will develop practical, tangible and transferrable leadership skills that help them to think, collaborate and communicate effectively.
- Student leaders will develop the ability to assess and apply talents and skills in leadership roles that support their core values.
- Student leaders will increase cultural competencies by engaging in projects/initiatives that support the college’s commitment to equity.
