College and Career Preparation

College preparation classes offer adults the opportunity to improve their reading, writing, and math skills. With stronger skills in these areas, you will be better prepared to enter a college program or technical training or prepare for a better job.

Class examples include:

• AI and Digital Literacy
• College/Career Readiness
• Integrated English Reading, Writing, & Tech: improve reading, grammar, and writing skills
• Reading and Writing for College Prep
• Math: choose from basic/applied math, algebra, or geometry

Some courses may only be for current students. The fee is $25 per quarter (waivers are available).

Steps to Enroll in College and Career Preparation Classes

1. Connect with a CCP Navigator and let us know what class you are interested in:
   
   • Call/Text: (206) 880-1704, please leave a voicemail to receive a call back
   • Email: AskCCP@rtc.edu 
2. You will receive a link to complete our digital enrollment forms.
3. You will complete a pre-assessment for class placement.
4. After testing, connect with a CCP Navigator with your scores (call/text: (206) 880-1704, or email: AskCCP@rtc.edu)
5. The CCP Navigator will confirm your class registration.
