WorkFirst
The WorkFirst program helps students receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) gain the education, training, and skills they need to get a job and increase their earning potential.
The WorkFirst team partners with students to identify an approved training program, provide ongoing support throughout their education, and prepare them for a family-wage career.
Most approved WorkFirst training programs can be completed within 12 months. Students may be eligible to extend training for up to 24 months. For funding across Washington State’s Community and Technical Colleges, visit Start Next Quarter.
