Learning Council
Statement of Purpose
Assess instructional and learning support policies and procedures, and make recommendations to the Resource and Planning Council that are in alignment with the College’s core themes and accreditation standards.
Scope of Work / Charter
The scope of work for which the Council operates under is as follows:
- Provide oversight to the development, implementation, and ongoing application of the College’s academic plan.
- Identify new instructional directions that align with the mission, core themes, and academic plan of the College (including but not limited to e-Learning options).
- Formulate, modify and review instruction-related policies, procedures and practices.
- Ensure Renton Technical College’s alignment with NWCCU accreditation standards.
