A work order is a documented request for maintenance, operational, or repair work to be completed. A work order may take more time and attention to complete due to analysis, parts sourcing, and labor. RTC faculty and staff can submit work order requests; provide as much detail as possible about the location and task in the work order description text box.

- Small office moves (Custodial)
- Cleaning (Custodial)
- Garbage removal (Custodial)
- Fixture installation (Maintenance)
- Ventilation repairs (Maintenance)
- Plumbing repairs (Maintenance)
- Mechanical, structural, electrical repair (Maintenance)
- Lighting repair (Maintenance)
- Painting / signage (Maintenance)
- Maintain, repair, improve campus grounds (Grounds Services)
- Things that do not qualify as work orders:
- Organizing work space
- Maintaining cleanliness of work space (desks, computers, shelves, etc.)
- Cleaning minor spills, or garbage
